AI RH Joins CAIACP Digital Intelligence Branch on a Research Visit to MaiMai Technology, Exploring New Opportunities in Agricultural AI and ASEAN Market Collaboration
Focusing on Smart Agriculture, Data Standards, Industrial Synergy, and ASEAN Market Expansion
On the afternoon of May 26, 2026, the Digital Intelligence Branch of the China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation (CAIACP) organized a special research and exchange session themed “Digital Intelligence Empowering Innovation, Technology Driving the Future of Agriculture” at the headquarters of MaiMai Technology Group.
The event was attended by Tao Xiongqiang, President of the Digital Intelligence Branch of CAIACP; Liu Jifang, Executive Vice President; Vice Presidents Han Fujun and Liu Fuhe; Deputy Secretary-General Shen Liding; Sun Ao, Founder and Director of MaiMai Technology; as well as representatives from multiple member organizations. Huang Jie, Executive Vice President of the Asia Innovation Research Hub (AIRH), was invited to participate in the exchange and research discussions.
The session focused on topics including Agricultural AI, smart cultivation, agricultural robotics, data standardization, digital-intelligent agricultural industry collaboration, and ASEAN market cooperation.
Exploring Agricultural AI: From Cultivation Models to Agricultural Robotics
During the visit, participants toured MaiMai Technology’s exhibition center and engaged in in-depth discussions on Agricultural AI application scenarios and industrial implementation.
Centered around crop growth modeling technology, MaiMai Technology has built a comprehensive digital-intelligence agricultural ecosystem covering technology R&D, production management, supply chain optimization, and consumer services. The company has grown into a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in Agricultural AI innovation.
Sun Ao, Founder and Director of MaiMai Technology, emphasized that Agricultural AI is not simply about achieving “full digitalization,” but rather about identifying and optimizing the key operational areas that can genuinely improve agricultural efficiency.
Currently, MaiMai Technology is strategically focusing on two major areas:
First, Agricultural AI Decision-Support Systems. By transforming outstanding cultivation experience into standardized and model-based systems, the company helps agricultural operators improve decision-making efficiency across the entire farming process, including cultivation, planting, management, and harvesting.
Second, Agricultural Robotics and Intelligent Equipment. Based on crop growth models, the company is collaborating with partners to develop specialized agricultural robotic solutions aimed at reducing the traditional agriculture sector’s heavy reliance on manual labor and experience-based operations.
